A very good mpression published in The Studio, Vol. 10, 1897, with their blindstamp located lower left. Overall apprx 11-1/2" x 8". "Herodias", original lithograph by Robert Anning Bell, dated circa 1900, titled and signed in the plate. Another very good impression on laid paper, published by The Studio with blindstamp, lower right. Overall paper apprx 11" x 7-3/4", with original tissue guard attached. "The Patchwork Quilt", original woodcut in colors by West, J. Walter, dated 1895, signed and titled in the plate. The Studio was the preeminent art journal ofthe Arts and Crafts movement. 577. Riccardo Zandonai Manuscript Score Manuscript page from the opera "I Cavalieri di Ekebu." Unsigned, black ink on wove paper, two sided. Apprx 11" x 8-1/4". Zandonai is important because he is pretty much the last of the line of Italian lyric composers. Ekebu had its premiere in 1925, a few months after Puccini's Turandot was completed by Franco Alfano and a few months before its premiere. 100/200 Sold: $34.50 |

Spencer, Esq (1769-1834), with designs by the right honourable Lady Diana Beauclerc. 35pages & 5 full page engravings (including frontispiece) & 4 vignette illustrations. Engraved by Bartolozzi & Harding. Cover missing, marbled end paper intact. Folio size. A wonderful example of the illustrative work of Lady Diana Beauclerk, the translator's aunt.
