Beautiful set of matching Sabbath candle sticks in Petticoat Style. Made in 2nd half of 19th Century when Poland was under the rule of Russia. Constructed in three parts with top candle holder in a pear form and square base. Features a design of raised roses. Bottom stamped with imperial warrant of St. Petersburg, company name Norblin & Co. Galw (indicating silver plate on brass) Warszawa, with BR and 1139 A. Measures apprx 12-1/2" H x 4-3/4" square at base. 1,500/1,700 back to catalog |
