Baltimore: Published by Lucas Brothers Baltimore, dated 1855. Apprx 56 hand-colored plates with tissue guards and two ornate chromolithographed title pages. First section has 133 pgs, "notes" section has 96 pgs. Publisher's full brown leather with embossed boards. Spine has five raised bands with six compartments with gilt and embossed title. Gilt paper edges.The name Gladys Parsons is inscribed on first page. Cover measures apprx 11-1/2"H x 9"W.
