634. Lot of Six Special Valentines

1) Printed cardboard Valentine depicts a box of pansies and is rimmed with cut hearts decorated with Forget-me-nots. Gilt message reads "My Valentine" and is signed Harold F. 1907. Verso is blank. 2) Booklet-card has an image of a Cupid and is titled "Glad Happy Echoes of Love." Eight pages are bound with a blue bow and feature bright illustrations through out. 3) Mechanical Valentine fan features two pull out panels decorated as daffodils and bearing the words "To My Love". Card unfolds to show a central angle who can then slide up to reveal a love poem. 4) Easel Backed valentine is made from parchment paper printed with sweet peas. Center features a card printed with pansies and a small poem and backed with lavender fabric. 5) Valentine features a central image of a small girl waving . Four cut out leaves are attached to heavy paper backing with four brass tacks. Verso has remnants of a pink ribbon for hanging 6) Valentine card has a front cover design of irises with pierce cut leaves and a small window through which can be seen a landscape. Card is fastened with a chord. Interior bears a poem entitled "From a Heart That is True".
