"The Creation". Mezzotint on paper, a stated Proof copy. Dramatic image depicts rocks swirling in waves and roiling clouds. A small crescent moon can be seen to the right side of the composition. Caption reads: "To His Royal Highness of Sussex (This plate is dedicated with the most profound respect)" Published march 21st 1831. Plate impression is apprx 10" x 14", paper edges have been trimmed and overall is apprx 11-1/4" x 16".
