Sans woodcuts, this book of the 15th century has apprx 263 pages, bound in leather with gilt tooling, decorated spine and red leather title inserted into upper compartment. Printed in two columns of 41 lines, numbered pages. First page has black ink stamp from Lucerne. Book measures apprx 12" x 9". Originally the book was illustrated by Michael Wolgemut (German, 1434-1519) and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff for the Franciscan Stephan Fridolin.
