| 6. Native American Mississippian Period Pottery Bottle, circa 1200 A.D.
Incised red clay vase with cylinder neck and tapering tear-drop shaped body. Decoration is separated into three sections by raised bands. Each section has a cross-hatched background and two fern-head shapes. Smooth, rounded botton, vessel stands upright. Overall has a brownish glaze effect and residue of clay, shell tempered.
