314. Adams Tunstall Patriotic Ware Container
Cobalt blue container decorated with white relief designs of the presidential seal: a bald eagle holding an olive branch, a quiver of thirteen arrows, and a scroll reading "E pluribus unum" (out of many, one); interspersed with floral swags. Round base flares out. Interior is white. Very similar in look to Wedgwood Jasperware. Bottom bears an incised stamp of Tunstall, England -Adams, Estbd 1657 and a stamp from "The National Remembrance Shop- Washington D.C." Measures apprx 5-1/4"H x 5-1/2"W.

Porcelain figure in two parts depicts an old woman plucking a duck. Her hollow body sits on a chair. Pestle shaped head/neck is balanced on her shoulders with the help of a pin so that she can nod back and forth. Measures apprx 7"H x 3"W.

Beautiful soft paste, possibly Rouen, vase converted into a lamp. Colorful green and yellow tin glazes decorate the handled urn with an inscribed provincial floral pattern. Outfitted for modern electricity and mounted onto a metal base. Finial in shape of a fleur-de-lis. Measures apprx 29"H x 9"W.

Hand painted porcelain figure of a Greek goddess, possibly Athena, holding a hammer and resting against an anvil. Her dress, laurels, and facial features are gilt while the rest of the figure remain white. Modeling and subject matter are neoclassical, popular in Art Deco aesthetics. Marked CW with crown symbol in blue on bottom. Measures apprx, 8-1/2"H x 2-1/2"W
