Verso has "Bond for Her of Maleredes, J.M.Moorman" written in graphite. Has price of 20.00 written in upper left corner and an note, on lower left, denoting where seal used to be.

"Tryals Convictions & Sentence of Titus Otes for perjury Before George Lord Jeffreys 1685". Vol. I and II. Printed for R. Sare at Grays-Inn-Gate in Holborn, and are to be fold by Randal Taylor, 154 pp. Printed on laid paper. Case appears to be an inditement against the wicked mind of notorious fraudster, Titus Otes (1649-1705). Book includes all interrogation of witnesses and declaration of punishments of humiliation and whipping. Case was presided over by George Lord Jeffreys (1648-1689), Lord High Chancellour of England, notorious for his cruelty and corruption, and who later died imprisoned in the Tower of London. Interesting book to include in the collection of any attorney. Measures apprx 12-3/8"H x 8"W.

Pennsylvania I.R.A. appointment for William J. Wainwright, signed by current president Abraham Lincoln (1809-April 15, 1865) and Secretary of the Treasury. Framed under glass. Printed on watermarked "John C. Clark Philadelphia" paper with individual blanks hand scripted. Blind stamp on lower left. Measures apprx 15-3/4"H x 19"W. With black frame, entire item measures apprx 17"H x 20-1/2"W. Lot also includes a photo-card, framed, under rolled glass after the image by Alexander Gardner. Image shows a formal seated portrait of Lincoln and his son, Thaddeus, "The last Photograph the President sat for" taken on April 10, 1865. Image measures apprx 8"H x 6-1/4"W. With white mat and gilt frame, entire item measures apprx 14-1/4"H x 12-1/2"W.

End papers are marbled in orange and black. Measures apprx 15-1/4"H x 6-3/4"W.
