294. An American Pottery Lidded Jar
Crystaline brown glazed jar with lid. Bulbous form has overall relief of berries and flowers with leaves. Lid is decorated with a blossom and petals. High gloss finish, overall apprx 10" with lid, apprx 7" at girth. Unmarked.

295. Royal Dux Figurine, Czech, early 20th Century
Hand painted porcelain figure of a young garden boy. The lad is equipped for out of doors work with his flower basket, clogs and sun hat. The boy wears a white shirt green breeches and a red apron. Figure has gilt dust accents and stands upon a round grassy base. Measures apprx 10"H. Bottom marked with pink triangle (thus indicating that it is pre World War I piece, dating about 1900 - 1910) and model number, 2456.

296. A Hte Boulenger Tile, French, circa 1890
Porcelain with hand painted glaze decoration. Image depicts a man steering two large, white horses. Boulenger was a Tuilerie based in Choisy-le-Roi, in the south-eastern suburbs of Paris, in the Art Nouveau era. Bottom of tile is marked with raised mold gird and company title and location. Measures apprx 8-1/4" square.

297. Pair of Aesthetic Movement Tiles, English, circa 1887
Pair of beautiful transfer decorated tiles with hand coloring in four shades. Each features a floral design bordered with a stylized motif. The prevalent umber color is typical of the Aesthetic palette. Possibly manufactured by The Decorative Art Tile Company. Gridded backs are marked with registration numbers: No:A29 RNo:96056 and No: A31 RNo:99130. Measure apprx 6" square.

1) A Minton Tile. Hand painted blue and white tile with a scene of the Boston State House from 1818. Marked on back Published by Macullar Parker and Company as well as Minton China Works, Stoke on Trent, Made in England. Apprx 6" square. 2) A Wedgwood Tile. "November". Transfer decorated green and white tile depicts a little boy wading in the sea. Back reads Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Etruria. Measures apprx 6"square.

Pretty porcelain center compote features reticulated modeling around rim and on foot. Dish is decorated with hand painted and applied flowers as well as gilt outlining. In two parts, dish is joined to foot and square pedestal base by a central screw. Bottom marked with green Dresden stamp. Measures apprx 10"H x 9-3/4"W.

Fine bone china, hand painted with five views in the border and central image. Edges are slightly scalloped and trimmed in green. Verso back-stamped in brown with Royal Worcester, made in England mark. Numbered 1978. Twelve 10-3/4"D dinner plates, eleven 9" luncheon plates, eleven 8" soup bowls, eleven 5-1/2" berry bowls, ten 6" bread plates, eleven 5-3/4" saucers and seven 2-1/4"T cups with two extra "cup" with filed down handles.
