528. An Irish Sterling Silver Footed Cream Jug, circa 1930-1931
In the Georgian style, imported into Britain. Hallmarked with the lion passant, anchor and date letter along with "C" and "W". Also, hallmarks to the left of ".925" and a "P" in a clover cartouche. Tripod footed container with extended spout and handle. Edge has an Oriental scalloped edge which is raised on the exterior, smooth on the interior. Feet are jointed and with slight knee. Handle follows aesthetic of design. Interior appears to have been with a gold wash. Apprx 3"T to the top of handle, apprx 1.5 troy oz.

Hallmarked Chester with lion passant, town mark and date letter, along with makers hallmark "G.N.R.H.". Oval shaped open bowl with pleats and scalloped edge with extended spout. Tripod footed in pad feet with raised knee and fluted oval. Simple curled handle gathers at the center. Interior had gold wash in past life. Apprx 2-3/8"T to the top of the handle and apprx 1.6 troy oz.
