603. Chinese Zodiac Necklace and Earrings Set, early 20th Century
Charming beaded necklace features the 12 animal of the Chinese Calendar represented in round carved ivory beads. Each large bead is flanked by two smaller ivory beads and separated by two lacquered black wood beads. With metal clasp. Measures apprx 36"L. Earrings are single monkey beads dangling with post backs. Measure apprx 1-1/4"L.

604. Oriental Oil Spot Vase, Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Black glazed vase has a very fine example of an oil spot glaze. Two animal head medallions protrude from the left and right sides of this piece. Bottom is marked with an impressed mark with Chinese lettering. Vase measures apprx 9-1/4" H x 5-1/2" W. This vase comes with a carved wooden stand.

605. Japanese Arita Export Plate, circa 1790
Beautifully potted export ware plate with a stylized island landscape. This plate has been painted in rusty red, blue and gold against a white ground. Set within four cartouches are sprays of flowers with floral and geometric borders. Characteristic Japanese floral sprays are located on the reverse of the border. This plate was made for Japanese export to the Dutch market. Plate measures apprx 9-3/4" in diameter.

606. Lidded Sauce Tureen, circa 1800
Chinese export porcelain lidded sauce tureen is dated ca. 1800. This blue and white Canton tureen features traditional Chinese designs of pagodas, mountains, trees and bridges. Buffalo head handles are located on both right and left sides with a squash stem finial on lid. Original sales sticker on verso indicates a date of 1750, however the true date of this piece has been thought to be later. Overall size is apprx 6" H x 7-1/2" W.

607. Chinese Export Cheroot Tray, circa 1850
The cheroot tray is an extremely rare form in Chinese export porcelain. The cherrot was the predecessor to the cigar and this vessel is the precursor to the modern ashtray. Crated in the shape of a tobacco leaf this tray has a large groove which was used to support the cheroot. Decorated in the traditional blue and white Canton pattern with star border, this piece dates ca. 1850. Provenance: ex. James Galley, Inc. Overall size is apprx 1-1/2" H x 7-3/4" W.
