Applied yellow glass handle tiny applied green glass dot. Nude woman of white opaque glass, blown into form. Overall apprx 6-1/2"T. 326. Scailmont Art Deco Glass Vase, Belgium, circa 1930 By Verreries de Scailmont, created by Charles Catteau (1880-1966), circa 1930. Mould blown, with acid-satined finish of opalescent canary yellow glass. Signed in the design "Ch. Catteau". Bulbous shape with high relief, flaring neck and footed base. Top of rim is polished, however not newly done. Bottom marked "Made In Belgium Scailmont" in cirle format. Apprx 9"T. 327. Venetian Lemonade Set Pretty beverage set includes a large pitcher and six drinking glasses. All made from emerald colored blown glass with hand applied silver decorations. Handled pitcher has a view of St. Mark's cathedral in Venice and a fancy lady surrounded by scrolling floral patterns. Cups feature a scene of the campanile of St. Mark's and gondolier. All items have double band near foot. Pitcher measures apprx 11-1/2"H x 4-1/2"D. Cups measures apprx 4-3/4"W x 3"W. 300/500 Sold: $195.50 |
