Two Nudes. Watercolor with ink on paper, framed under glass. Scene depicts a pair of female nudes in a lush green setting. One appears to be drying off as though just having bathed. Figures refined through pen and ink detailing. Signed lower right. Paper measures apprx 12-1/4"H x 9"W. In beige mat and rough wooden frame, entire item measures apprx 20-3/4"H x 16-3/4"W. Provenance: From a prominent Cleveland, Ohio estate. Brockman was a California born painter who studied under painters Gifford Beal and John Sloan at the Art Students League in New York City. 400/500 Sold $402.50 back to catalog |
