105. Thomas Worlidge (English, 1700-1766 or 1768)

"Old Man with High Cap". An etching after Rembrandt on wove paper, framed under glass. Artist's name in top right and dated 1755. Plate impression measures apprx 3-1/2"H x 2-3/4"W. Verso hold image information. With beige silk lining and gilt wood frame, entire item measures apprx 12"H x 10-1/2"W. Provenance: Ross Widen Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio, then a prominent Cleveland, Ohio estate.

Worlidge did many etchings and drawings after Rembrandt's portraits which are included in museum collections world wide.
