Pair of similar heavy bell shaped mortars with pestles. Each container has squared handles and banded insides. Mortar were, and still are, used for preparation of herbs for medicine or food. First mortar measures apprx 4-1/2"H x 4-1/2"W, with 8"L pestle, second apprx 4-1/4"H x 4-1/2"W, with 7-1/2"L pestle.
