Lot includes five glazed earthenware items. 1) Hollow mud man figure of a scholar. Rustic figure wears long robes in blue and teal, features a long beard and comical expression. Manufactured in Southern China, these sorts of Shekwan pieces are unique and highly collectable. Apprx 8"H. 2) Small round bowl features a pretty celadon green glaze with dark blue crazing. 3) Solidly build YiXing storage jar from the 19th Century. Made from a pale clay with crystalline, blue/green glaze marked with sight crazing. Measures apprx 7-1/4"H x 6-1/2"W. 4) YiXing tea-ware familee 19th Century container in unglazed purple pottery decorated with quaint botanical pattern in pink, white and green. Bottom impressed with makers stamp. Measures apprx 5-1/2"H x 6"W. 5) Shewang country pot with lid. Bright glazing over red clay features bamboo and floral patterns. Unmarked. Measures apprx 5-1/2"H x 5-1/2"W.
