509. Guilloche Purple Enameled Dressing Table Accessories, circa 1920

Lot includes: 1) Two glass vanity jars with intricate guilloche lids featuring out-ward spiraling patterns. Sterling silver lid bases with English sterling silver hall marks. Glass containers have faceted sides. Measure apprx 1"H x 1-1/2"W. 2) Pin box on tripod feet. Has a hinged lid with a gold washed interior and a saffron colored velvet liner. Perfect for small loose trinkets like earrings, safety pins and small buttons. Marked with English sterling hallmarks. Measures apprx 1-1/2"H x 2-1/2"W...

3) Small glass perfume jars etched with frosted flower designs. Wand is glass with a sterling silver lid featuring delicate mauve enameling. Measures apprx 3-1/4"H x 2-1/4"W. 4) Glass powder jar with sterling and guilloche enameled lid. Small jar etched with floral swags and topped wit punctuated lid for powder to sift through. Pretty lid has central silver disk, possibly for a monogram and a cork interior. Lid marked sterling. Measures apprx 3-3/4"H x 1-1/4"W. 5) Adorable vanity compact and lipstick holder with finger ring and chain. Compact had a pretty guilloche design of flowers and has compartments for rouge and powder. Even chain and ring have enameling. Compact measures apprx 2"D. 6) Desk clock with easel back features a shiny purple frame and round 8 Day Clock face from Manchester with printed numerals. Enamel is banded by sterling silver and is stamped with British hallmarks. Back is wood. Measures apprx 4-1/4"H x 3-1/4"W.
