Gathering wood. Oil on board, signed lower right and "Paris", framed. Winter scene depicts two figures, in red caps, hauling bundles of switches from the forrest. The colors of a sunset are evident in the background sky. Board measures apprx 16-1/2"H x 26-1/2". In light wood fillet and gilt frame, entire item measures apprx 22"H x 32-1/4"W.
