| 10. A Copper Amulet, circa 12th Century, Seljic Empire
From Turkey or ancient Anatolia during the time of the Seljic Empire. One side has eight lines of Persian writing surrounding a seated figure, holding a staff. Two the left and right of the figure are two tables, or calendars with symbols. The other side has a central figure with a tiger. This image has a surround border decorated with one small animal and Persian lettering. Overall the thin plate is squared with the corners and center rising. Top section is pierced.
