Entire item decorated with carved rococo elements of foliate curls and shell motifs. Sits on short cabriole legs. Interior back lined with yellow and blue Chinese silk fabric. Measures apprx 6'10"H x 3'3"L x 1'7"W.

Substantial pair of oak chairs, carved with Freemason symbols. Each sits on four knopped legs with a radiating pediment crowning back rest. Central panels feature scales, fleur-de-lis and traditional eye as the symbol of the Great Architect of the Universe. One chair includes emblem of square and compass, the other with a banner reading "God with vJ". 48"H x 20-1/2"L x 18"W. Overall dark brown patina.
