368. Airzilie and Freda Haitian Voodoo Flag
Drappo or prayer flag hand crafted from red fabric seed beads and sequins. Flag contains symbols or "veve" to invoke an Iwa (spirit). Flag bears names of Airzilie Freda and Haiti. Erzulie (or Airzilie) Freda is the loa of beauty and love; she is a complex spirit that represents the ability to dream, the artistic ability to create but also suffers and survives it all. Backing is purple silk. Measures apprx 29-1/4" square.

369. The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer Ceremonial Sword, English, 1981
Presentation sword's blade etched with "To Commemorate the Marriage of The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer-29 July 1981". Made by Wilkinson Sword by Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Sword Cutlers. Only 500 swords made to commemorate this event. The full names of the royal couple are on the half basket guard; the grip is wrapped in metal chord with a silk tassel attached. Enameled crests of the family featured on pummel and bottom of guard . Measures apprx 39"L.

Carved elephant ivory tip in form of a gripping hand with a round burst finial. Silver band engraved with four recipient names: L. Campbell 1835, C.F. Rowell 1877, A.W. Cilmore 1886, S.C. Gilmore 1908. Black ebony wood shaft and silver capped tip. Measures apprx 36-1/2"L.
