379. Inlaid Papier Mache Writing Accessories, 1840-1880
Distinctively designed papier mache pencil box, sliding drawer with gold interior, face of portrait has been chipped away, floral vignettes, and an intricate gold pattern throughout. Apprx 9" long. Inlaid Mother-of-pearl hinged box for holding jars of ink. Japanese style arrangement of flowers with 'bamboo' border on top and front of box. Small chip on front bottom. Interior has two small compartments lined with blue velvet. Lock lacking a key. Apprx size 5" x 5", hinge at 2".

380. An Art Nouveau Silver & Ivory Clock, C. 1902-03
Birmingham silver mantle clock with silver marks of anchor, lion, date letter of "C" and makers stamp of "D.C.Co.". Classic Art Nouveau styling in silver with a green cabochon stone, bezel set on top. Clock set on carved ivory base. Apprx 9-1/4" T x 4-7/8" W at base x 2-3/4" D from front base corner to rear corner.

381. An Arts and Crafts Style Wrought Iron Fireguard
A fabulous hand hammered arts and crafts style fire guard of two andirons with curved brackets at the bottom that support a wrought iron rod holding a ring. The andirons also have rings in the center and end in four upturned basket type decorations at the top. Measure apprx 39-1/4" x 46-1/2" x 27".

382. Model of a 17th Century British Ship of the Line
This 20th century model was custom made from the plank on frame technique just as the original ship was constructed. Most likely from Italy. The modeler used original drawings and prints as a source for historical reference. Assembled one plank at a time using select woods such as ebony, rose wood and black wood. It was in the 17th Century that Britain firmly established it's reputation as masters of the sea. Sits on a custom marble base, no maker's marks. Measures apprx 30-1/2"H x 32"L. Comes with custom crate.

383. Eye Ball Lamp, after Angelo Lelli, circa mid 20th Century
After the design for Arredoluce, entitled "Cobra", which was originally designed circa 1964. Modern table lamp with a silver colored frame seats a black sphere at the center. Ball with a conical indentation with faceted glass interior and small light bulb. Ball is loosely attached to rest of vertical shape and with round perforations around edge. Sits on a black drum shaped base with on/off knob, outfitted for modern electricity. Measures apprx 25"H.
