184. Lot of Three Pages from La Vie Parisienne, circa 1920's

Le Vie Parisienne was a fun, slightly risque weekly magazine published in Paris at the turn of the last century. Lot features three pages. 1) Petit Dictionnaire Illustré, Des Exclamations, "Vlan!" Image depicts a courtly dressed young man conveniently falling on top of a lady while ice skating. Drawing by Gerorges Barbier. 2) Le Retour Du Carnaval...et la Résurrection des Confetti. Illustration features a woman wearing a sheer festival costume leaping over the heads of a crowd of revelers. Drawing by A. Valleé. 3) Cover for August 1923 with a bathing beauty surfing a wave. Versos of pages bear various charming advertisements and cartoons. Each page measures apprx 13-3/4"H x 10-1/2"W.
