The first edition is valuable for the original impressions of the fine series of maps by Herman Moll, including a very good one of America, a current chart of the Channel from observations by Edmund Halley, and a map of the Indies on Mercator's projection, with improvements by John Seller and Charles Price, showing the northern coast line and part of the west and south coasts of Australia, together with parts of Van Dieman's Land and New Zealand .
