Harvest allegory features a russet haired beauty bearing a bundle of wheat, about to be crowned by a hovering angle and assisted by other characters of the autumnal gathering festival. Overall apprx 63-1/2" x 46-1/2". Probably rescued from the same prominent Cleveland building as the prior lot, though the painting style of this picture is somewhat heavier. Framed as a pair with the prior lot. 2,000/4,000 Sold $2,300.00 back to catalog |
