"Lake Detroit Where Weber Bear Provo Duchane and Green Rivers Meet". Oil on canvasboard, framed. American outdoor scene with a tranquil river flanked by shores of green trees, a purple mountain rising behind, under a cloudy gray sky. Title and painter's name on verso. Measures apprx 10-1/8"H x 13-3/4"W. In painted wood frame, entire item measures apprx 14"H x 17-3/4"W. Danish born artist, started his prolific career as an artist at age 17, when he began painting houses. He was by trade a Utah farmer and loved to paint his rural surroundings.
