| 415. Three Meissen Style Plates, German, circa 19th Century
Lot of three hand painted porcelain plates: 1) Sweet plate features a central bouquet including roses and a lilly. Rim features a neoclassical pattern in gold leaf. Bottom bears blue Meissen crossed swords. Measures apprx 8-3/4"D. 2) Plate features a raised wavy basketry pattern with a large bouquet depicted in the center and other small floral sprigs surrounding. Rimed with gilt. Marked on bottom with blue crossed swords. Measures apprx 1-1/4"H x 9-1/2"D. 3) Shallow bowl/ center plate divided into four sections; two with vignettes of courting couples, the others have pink background embellished with floral clusters. Rim and dividing lines decorated with scrolling lines. Crossed blue swords on bottom. Measures apprx 2"H x 9-1/4"D. 200/300 Sold $126.50 back to catalog |
