"Hammers". Diptych of two lithographs on orange handmade rag paper, separately framed under glass. Published by Petersburg Press, in 1970. From a larger series of tools printed in small editions. First image depicts the silhouette of a hammer obscured by what appears to be a spray paint splatter. Second depicts the out line of two hammer models partially filled in through shading. First image signed D-1970 on lower left and second image bears edition number 14/53 and Jim on lower right in white pencil. Paper measures apprx 25-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W. With white backing paper and wood frame, entire items measure apprx 30"H x 20-1/4".
