Lovely serving accessory features a handled dish with an oval bowl and stepped foot. Dish attaches to a footed tray with a banded rim. Very careful stipple work gives a lightly textured effect to feet and handles. Screws on bottom where pieces are attached. Two hallmarks indicate items maker's (unidentifiable) location as Paris and date as circa 1838. Measures apprx 4-1/2"H x 9"W. Weighs apprx 17.7 Troy oz.
