Silver body with polished black lacquer on interior. Lift-off top is a finely carved shibuichi panel. Applied decoration of two a adult cranes with a young crane in solid silver, gold and copper. Silver dots are inlaid amongst the carved breaking surf. Panel is signed on lower right. Bottom edge is stamped with the jungin (silver) mark. Interior with two compartments. Measures apprx 3"H x 9-1/2"L x 7"W.
