"Charles Dickens". Wood sculpture faces forward and wears long beard. Measures apprx 11"H x 10"W. Name of sitter on front, signed on back with copyright date as 1912. Krupka was born circa 1880 in the Rychnor area and came to the United States circa 1904 through Ellis Island. He died at the young age of 37 of consumption, leaving behind his children, all of whom were raised by friends of the family.
