Portrait bust wooden sculpture of a writer. Serious man leans his chin on his hand in which he holds a quill. Signed on back with copyright from 1912. Measures apprx 12"H x 9"W. Krupka was born circa 1880 in the Rychnor area and came to the United States circa 1904 through Ellis Island. He died at the young age of 37 of consumption, leaving behind his children, all of whom were raised by friends of the family. 200/400 Sold $414.00 back to catalog |
