1) Oval pill box with hinged lid depicts a courtly scene of two ladies reading in a garden accompanied by a minstrel. Around edge are vignettes of musical instruments. Gilt washed interior. Measures apprx 7/8"H x 2-7/8"L x 2"W. Bottom marked 800. 2) Oblong container with hinged lid features low relief cameo decorations of nobility, foliate and swag motifs on surrounding spaces. Measures apprx 1"H x 3-7/8"W x 1"W. Bottom with stamps.
