553. Fine Bohemian Glass Punch Service for Twelve
Case glass cut from white to green, hand decorated with flower band and gold stencil pattern. Include a gourd shaped bowl, apprx 11-1/2"W x 10"W, with lid and ladle, twelve cups, apprx 3-1/2"T and liner plate, apprx 17"D. Unmarked, polished pontils. This service could be attributed to Jilik Brothers who produced the glass, the studio of Karl Palda where the service was cut, and later painted at the workshop of Alexander Pfohl, Czechoslovakia.

554. A Set of Two Decanters and a Container, Murano Italy, circa 20th Century
This lot includes Two slender decanters are of bulbous shapes with flared bottoms and twisted stoppers. The container is of pillow-like shape with matching ornamental lid with pink flowers. All three items are of the same design with white finish and gilt dots and shapes. The maker of these items is unknown. Items measure approx. starting with tallest: 25-1/2"H, 20"H, and 9"H.

562. Kevin Lockau (Halifax, Nova Scotia, b. 1956)
"Loons IV", hand cast glass, each inscribed on bottom and dated '87. Male and female form, each body apprx 10-1/2" or 11", both with painted and carved "heads". Kevin Lockau has taught hot casting at Sheridan College since 1986, and workshops at glass facilities across Canada, the US, and Belgium. A graduate of OCA, Kevin has taken casting classes at the Pilchuck glass school with Bert Vass Loo, Bertil Vallien Brychtova/Libensky. Exhibiting nationally and internationally since 1984, Lockau has been favoured with numerous awards from the Ontario Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts and a Harbourfront glass studio residency.
