This work is by a famed Spanish artist KIEFF ANTONIO GREDIAGA, born in Madrid Spain 1936. Well recognized for his foundry sculptures that are produced in bronze and brass.

Bronze bust of a female wearing a straw hat and holding a sprig of cherries in her mouth, applied gold-tone on skin, signed "Van Der Straeten" above a seal for the Societe des Bronzes de Paris, mounted on a marble base. Van der Straeten, a contemporary of Villanis, was born in Gand, Belgium and is known for his sculptures of charming young girls. Approx. 21"H with base.
