"Omar Khayyam". Famous Turkish poet, astronomer and mathmatician. Khayyam sits with his legs crossed while he reads a book. In one hand he holds a water jug and a loaf of bread is at his feet, referring to his most widely known work, "The Rubiyat". Measures apprx 6" x 7" and hallmarked 2247.
