Untitled lot of two drawings. Pencil on paper, signed "Flint" on the lower right corner. Set of two drawings of bears. Both images approx. 9-1/2" x 7-1/2". Both drawings framed overall approx. 17" x 14-1/2". One of Ohio's finest painters and printmakers of the 20th Century, W. Leroy Flint attended the Cleveland School of Art from 1932 to 1936. During his career, he exhibited his art regularly in Cleveland, Akron, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Chicago. Today examples of his work are included in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Akron Art Institute and the University of Michigan. 50/100 Sold $103.50 back to catalog |
