Set of four American Empire painted chairs. Top rail and three banisters in the "Boston" design, while the the stiles an side seat rails are in Directoire, or Sheraton style. Caned seat with horse hair covered cushions. Each has a different hand painted view. All four measure approx. 30"H x 17"W.
