Chinese carved ivory figural chess set. Lighter side is ivory, the darker side is probably bone. Figures are presented as Chinese emperor with court. Eight pawns are different figurines. All figures have some pigment. Original inlay wood box with satin lined spaces for pieces. Figurines measure from 4-1/2"H to 2"H. Box measures approx. 3-3/4"H x 19"W x 9-1/2"L.
