European, a period platinum brooch, not tested or hallmarked other than an "A" on the bar pin in a square cartouche. Metal has turned a slight grey tone. Five central diamonds, apprx SI2-3, and apprx H-J color, surrounded by apprx 24 smaller diamonds-mostly mine cut round brilliants. Scalloped edge with leaf shapes has apprx 8 small diamonds surrounded by apprx 58 accent mine cut diamonds (two are missing).
