Very stately and elegant vase of bulbous body and flared rim, shape number 2863 (Madigan, Mary Jean, "Steuben Glass: An American Tradition in Crystal", Harrry N. Abrams Inc., New York; page 260). This vase was in production from 1904 to 1936. Well polished pontil with acid etched signature "Steuben". Measures 10"T x 9"W at shoulders.
