252. Carved Hornbill Ivory Snuff Bottle, circa 19th Century Another beautiful example of hornbill ivory snuff bottle. Light amber colored ivory bottle with carved out peony flowers around it. Sides of the bottle have some red coloring due to red part of the casque out of which the bottle was made of. Red carved chain is attached to the stopper and part of the carving on the bottle.
