Green Glazed Stupa, Tang Dynasty, ca. 8th-9th Century AD In three sections, the bottom section in the form of a tapering column surmounted by overlapping petals surrounded by a three-slated balustrade, supporting a broad-shouldered oviod vase with two applied wave-like borders below ribbed decoration on the shoulders, surmounted by a cover in the form of the stupa itself.
