123. Two French Watercolor Illustrations, ca. late 19th/early 20th Century

"Dictionaire National" and "Saxolcine". Pencil outline and watercolor on paper. First image approx. 5-1/2"H x 4"W; second one approx. 5-5/8"H x 4-1/4"W. Both are very clean and bright. "Dictionnaire National" is an advertisement of a popular publication and features a young woman reading the journal placed on the Roman column pedestal. "Saxoleine" is an advertisement for safe lamp oil and features a young lady in the red dress and the yellow hat holding a lit oil lamp with green shade.
