French expressionist and religious painter, Georges Rouault was originally trained as a stained glass designer, but later continued to study at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. Being a devoted Catholic, he concentrated a lot on the religious and Biblical themes in his artwork. Works by Georges Rouault are represented in all major museum collections.
