A peaceful scene with rolling hills and airy clouds above. Oil on canvas, signed lower right corner, dated 1936, framed. Image measures approx. 23" x 28-1/2", framed overall approx. 27-1/2" x 33". The view is from a country hillside with fir trees in the foreground and a panoramic distant view of fields and hills receding into the distance. There is a Hungarian export stamp on the verso of the canvas, and an exhibition label dated 1966 on the stretcher.
