| 406. American Silver-plated Footed Urn, circa late 19th Century
This silver-plated urn was made by Simpson Hall Miller & Co, in Wallingford Connecticut, and is marked on the bottom. The urn rests on four decorative feet, has a removable lid with a decorative finial, two handles, and a spicket which was used to pour hot water at large tea parties. The body of the urn is slightly tapered and features an rolled and impressed deign; marked with family name above the spicket.
