Watercolor on paper, signed lower right and dated '47. Image size approx. 12-1/2" x 15-1/4". Overall in green mat and gold tone frame approx. 21-1/2" x 25-1/2". Johnston was a Pennsylvania active in Pittsburgh and Chautauqua, New York. She studied with George Sotter, linking her in some degree to the New Hope School of American Impressionism.

Hand colored engraving on paper, signed "Harold Wyllie" on the lower left corner. The print was published in London, on April 25th, 1927 by Robert Dunthorne & Son Ltd. 5 Vigo St. W. Framed under glass; matted. Image size approx. 8-3/4" x 15-3/4", framed overall approx. 17-3/8" x 23-5/8". Harold Wyllie was a son of famous artist W.L. Wyllie, who specialized in marine etchings. Harold Wyllie was born in London, England, and his father was one of his teachers. Harold fought in South Africa and France.
