807. Sevres Style Porcelain Box, ca. mid-20th Century Decorative Sevres style hand painted porcelain box depicting two young country men testing tobacco. Signed "Lenoir" on the lower right corner of the hinged lid. Lower part of the box is in powder blue and features hand-painted gilt decorations. Underneath the lid there is a cartouche depicting a beer mug with the phrase "Setaminet Du Bon Bock."Bottom is marked with maker's insignia. 810. European Hand-painted Porcelain on Copper Dish, ca. late 18th/ early 19th Century White porcelain on copper oblong dish with deep well and raised brim. Focus of the plate is on the central medallion depicting an outdoor scene with a a shepherd two cows and a dog resting near a river; medallion is surrounded with thick gilt scrolls and leaves. Brim is decorated with four gilt cartouches with flower sprays. Heavy gilt accents throughout. Copper metal trim on the rim and bottom.
